Security

The safety and security of passengers is a major priority to Leeds Bradford International Airport.  Please be patient and allow plenty of time for getting to the airport and for security checks once you have arrived at the airport.

Arriving at the airport:
Passengers arriving at Leeds Bradford International Airport should be aware that the area in front of the terminal building is currently closed to vehicles, other than public transport buses and authorised hackney carriage vehicles.

Due to increased security measures all other vehicles, on approach to the airport terminal building, will be directed into the appropriate car parks.

Customers parking for over 24 hours will be directed into the long stay car park.

Customers parking for the day will be directed to the short stay car park.

Vehicles requiring to drop off or pick up passengers( including private hire vehicles) will be directed into the short stay car park .There is no free parking, however, the car park has a transit grace period when no charge is made. The period is adequate to allow immediate drop off and pick up.

Blue badge holders may continue to use the designated spaces within the short stay car park.
Yorkshire Executive members will be allowed access to their car park on production of their car park permit and identifiable windscreen sticker.
