1. What hotels are situated near the airport?    There is an on-site Travelodge that is served by a courtesy bus to/from the terminal building. Can you pre-book on-airport car parking?   You can pre-book on-airport car parking, click here for prices and bookings. (On stays of over 8 days you will receive a discount when you pre-book) Our on-line car park tariff chart will give you costs for both long and short stay parking. 3. How long before the flight do we have to check-in?   Check-in times vary depending on your destination and airline. For full details you should check with the airline here that you are travelling with or the relevant handling agent. 5. What time do the catering facilities both landside and airside open?   Generally all catering outlets are open when flights are arriving or departing. Check out the eating and drinking pages on the website for further information. 6. What is the fare to .........?   Fares differ depending on various factors e.g. availability, duration and airline. After selecting your scheduled or holiday destination please contact your local ABTA travel agent or the relevant airline here or tour operator here for prices and availability. 7. Are there any special arrangements that need to be made if I am disabled?   If you require any assistance this should be arranged through the relevant handling agent. I'm going on holiday to Spain can I take bacon with me?   Restrictions on taking food items abroad can change at any time due to many different factors and for full details, you are advised to check with the consulate of the country that you are travelling to. I have a pacemaker, will this effect me when going through the x-ray?   Please advise the relevant handling agent of your condition before your date of travel and also bring with you to the airport written notification of your condition from your doctor, specialist or hospital. 10. What is the baggage allowance at LBA?   Individual airlines may have their own baggage weight limitations, however in order to safeguard the health of airport workers passengers should pack their bags so that individual bags do not exceed 20kg, where this can not be achieved no single bag should weigh more than 32kg and be clearly marked as heavy. I've lost my baggage, what do I do?   The airline that you travel with is responsible for your luggage so if your suitcase does not appear when you arrive at your destination or at Leeds Bradford Airport you must report this to the airline staff before you leave the baggage collection area. 12. Can I buy my euro's at the airport before I go on holiday?   There are three Travelex Bureau de Change offices at Leeds Bradford Airport, where you can purchase of all major worldwide currencies and traveler’s cheques upon arrival or before you arrive. Are there any banks at the airport?   Travelex Bureau De Change will cash personal cheques up to the stated limit of the guarantee card (a small charge will be made). There are also three ATM points within the terminal building. Yorkshire Bank and HSBC ATM points are situated in the main arrivals area opposite O’Briens Irish Sandwich Bar.  There is also a Link ATM point next to the Travelex Bureau in the departure concourse. 14. Can I fly to............ from Leeds Bradford?   You can fly to a wide range of European destinations on a direct flight from Leeds Bradford Airport, and to hundreds of worldwide destinations through one of the 'hub' airports of London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Paris or Brussels. I want to send my son to see his grandma in Dublin but he is only 12, can he fly un-accompanied?   Every airline has it’s own guidelines and restrictions on children travelling alone so you should contact the airline directly or the relevant handling agent.
