Zakynthos, or more colloquially Zante, is a small island lying in the Mediterranean in Western Greece and the third in size of the islands of the Ionian Sea . T his green island of poetry, and love is the native land of D. Solomos, who wrote the Greek National Anthem, and home of the Patron Saint Dennis.
